Using the knowledge and the methods of experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience, we can design robot-assisted training protocols, which target the specific cognitive mechanism in clinical populations, such as neurodevelopmental disorders or schizophrenia.
Assistive domestic robots
Robots at home might become our reality very soon. Our results would pave the way towards platforms more capable of interacting with humans. Using neuroscientific methods, we can provide guidelines to robot designers about what parameters are relevant for social engagement with robot platforms (like R1).
